Coaching sessions for juniors who are 9 years or older will commence on Monday 22 April at 5pm.

This year’s coaching sessions will commence on MONDAY 22 APRIL at 5pm.  It is hoped to run 10 weekly sessions, with professional coaching from Ross Dennison on 3rd, 10th & 17th June and a Texas Scramble finale on 24th June for the Griffins Trophy.  Coaching will be available for all Juniors aged 9 and over and will normally be from 5pm until 6pm, although this may alter for some.

The coaches this year will be Irene Blease, Barney Mackie, Scott Henderson and Robert Nixon, the latter two golfers having recently qualified as PGA Level 1 coaches.  Depending on the number of juniors and of available coaches, it is sometimes necessary to call upon parents to assist in terms of the management of coaching sessions.  Any offers of assistance are always gratefully received

In order to cover planned and incurred expenditure, we regrettably will have to charge £2 per session – a small sum, we feel, when considered against the benefit which the youngsters will gain from their increased enjoyment in participating in the great game of golf.

We look forward to welcoming our juniors to these sessions and would ask that they attend, if possible, by 4.50pm on Monday 22nd in order that we can get registration and other administrative details sorted out by 5pm.
